Mantic Goodness

On friday I played my first game of Mantics The Walking Dead: All Out War with Joe, who kickstarted it. Really impressed with the game, the whole me vs you but also don’t get eaten thing works really well. And I loved the minis. So much so I ordered my own retail boxed set so I can dive in and start painting some. I can also see me picking up a couple of pieces from TT Combat (especially the Dino Gas Station) for building a world to play in.

We’ve also played a couple of games of HeroClix and X Wing recently as well, so we’re riding that mini/board gaming wave thing that’s around at the moment.

Oh and I won the AOW game when Andrea got bitten, rose, and ate her sister. Nice narrative stuff coming out right from the get-go.
