Project Overview

I bought the Assault on Black Reach boxed set, mainly for the marines for my DA, and with the intent of chopping up the deth koptas and selling the orks. Trouble is, I kind of liked the orks. So I needed to come up with a way to include them in my rebel grotz army. I came up with ork mercenaries. The fluff will need a little massaging, but the premise is a group of ork meks will fight for whoever gives them access to shiney loot. Fair enough.

And to lead these soldiers of fortune.. these crack kommandomeks? Well it had to be the ultimate big mek of them all.. Howlin’ Mad Murray!
