Right another update. Things have slowed a little, I keep getting distracted from the task at hand to do things like play San Andreas or make rivets. But some progress.
Been working on the head and the left arm so far. The head is coming along best, hence that's the photos I've got. I've gone for a sort of knight type look to is, but intend to deface the image with suitable orkish features. Kind of an echo of the oomie walkers, if you get me. Not much detail on it yet, just the top hatch, which was acquired from my old baneblade. It's an old rhino hatch with a steering wheel from some old model. I think it works nicely. I've put it off centre to stop him looking like he had one of those weird american properllor hat things on. 🙂 Oh and see the rivets? That's my new leather punch doing that, that is. Woo.
The left arm is coming along, but much slower since I'm doing a cutting blade and currently cutting out about 56 notches per blade. Drains my energy something chronic, so mind numbing. Nearly there though. It'll either rock in a serious way, or look a bit odd. I'm hoping for rock.
Superglued my fingers to the head more times than anything in the past six months. No idea why, it just seems destined to be attached to me. Grr.
