A beginning

Right I've started with the sniper rifle, since if I couldn't get one looking like I wanted it to there wasn't much point looking at the sniper himself. The rifle is pretty much there. The body is from a bolter, the butt is just a lasgun one, then the barrell and stand are plasticard/tubing. Oh and the scope is half a set of IG binoculars. Needs a little cleaning on the cut side, but I like the effect.

I have since started the model, but not a lot to show yet. Legs are positioned and neck position sorted. For a change I'm making this guy left handed, which may or may not prove to be problematic.

Still haven't decided how to base him. I was thinking of putting him amongst some dead bodies, sort of laying out of view. But I figured since my army is a desert army rather than an urban one that might not work. Right now I'm torn between part of a burnt out vehicle or some sort of rock formation. See what I reckon.

Going to use the same cap as that on my medic, but turned backwards in pseudo-macho swat style. hut hut hut.

Promising so far I think.
