Test Model

Ok the stripping is well underway, this is my first test model. The paint scheme is hugely simple, bleached bone, dark red helmet and trim.

This one isn’t finished, needs the bleach bone coat tidying and some highlights on the red, then need to pick a bolter colour.

I’ve just ordered some army painter bone coloured primer. The plan is bone primer, devlan mud wash, bone highlight, white highlights, done. If I make it complicated they won’t get painted. I’m not good enough to warrant the 2 hours it takes me per model even on rank and file, so I’m out to improve my speed rather than quality at the moment.
