Basic Structure

As you may have spotted I've uploaded a few of my inspiration photos of various Knights I found around the web. I'm not trying to replicate any of these, just a few features in each I thought might make a useful reference.

I've started mine then. The basic greaves are done, though need a second layer with edging detail before I can start riveting and the like.

I've also started on the chest armour. Lots to do here, it will wrap around the back and be bulked up across the shoulders and neck massively. I'm not aiming for an epic Paladin, more my interpretation there of.

Also included the shoulder pad and the head I'm thinking about using. It's from a robogear spider, but I think will work ok once I've plated the canopy in armour.

The gun is coming along, needs lots of detailing and I'm thinking about shaping the end of the inner barrel (more like the blue knight in my inspiration photos). About to start looking at the chainsword now, see what I can come up with.
